As employers close their doors, tens of thousands of people are looking for work. Here are the companies hiring now.
Hospitality and leisure may have been among the first hit by coronavirus-related job losses, but companies across all industries are having to make tough decisions about staffing and salary levels. And for those people working in the gig economy, they may suddenly find themselves with time on their hands and bank accounts to fill.

Working in care:
If you have free time and can afford to volunteer, do raise your hand for the NHS. They have positions available for people who are fit and healthy as well as for those who need to stay at home.
There are so many heartwarming stories of people taking an active role in their neighbourhoods and local communities. If there are elderly or vulnerable people nearby do offer support. Age UK has a great overview on how to help.
