Lush’s new avocado-shaped vegan soap is what the world needs now
My mother’s advice while I was growing up to wash my hands regularly has taken on a whole new meaning in today’s pandemic landscape. I’m starting to get a bit OCD with it all and my skin is started to chafe…
That’s why I was excited to hear about the new Easter-inspired range from Lush Cosmetics.
The whimsical collection of 16 vegan soaps, shower creams, bubble bars, bath bombs and shampoo creams ticks all the boxes of good hygiene as well as lightening the mood with playful shapes.
There’s the Magic Rabbit bath bomb in the shape of a top hat with bunny ears sticking out of it; the Dinosaur Egg Bombshell bath bomb with a tiny dinosaur figure tucked inside an egg; and of course, the Lucky Carrot bubble bar.
But perhaps the one I’m most looking forward to trying is the intensely moisturising Avo Good Easter soap – made with avocado, bergamot, litsea cubeba (which not only is an antibacterial but also helps reduce signs of stress and anxiety – um, yes, please!) and olibanum oils (an antimicrobial that kills bacteria).
As the website proclaims – this is the most hipster way to wash your hands and body.
Now I just need to refrain from panic buying the lot!
